Plot Summary : My Name is Khan is set post 9/11 and focuses on the discrimination Rizwan Khan faces as he is a Muslim.

Rizwan Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome, a type of Autism. He falls in love with a Hindu woman Mandira (Kajol) who is also a single mother living in San Francisco. The terror attacks and how it affects their relationship and life is the theme of the movie.

‘Billu Barber’ is a story of a simple ordinary man who led an extraordinary life. Bilas Rao Pardesi (Irrfan Khan) a poor barber living in his village with his unsatisfied wife Bindiya (Lara Dutta) and two kids.

His life goes through a rollercoaster ride as superstar Sahir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) once Billu’s school friend, visits the village for a film shoot. His Life changes.

Suddenly Billu’s status changes and he becomes most looked after. Everyone wants to meet the superstar through Billu. But Billu fears that the Sahir Khan may not recognize him. He makes many attempts to meet the Sahir, but fails. Now people thinks that he had lied about the friendship and start humiliating him.

But again billu’s life changes, when in a school function, Sahir Khan talks about his life journey & a friend who always stood by him in Crisis. A friend who gave him the money to join acting by selling his family ear ring. And the name of that friend was Billu. Happy Ending.

The movie has Guest appearances by Kareena Kapoor , Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.

In all the move is good. Irfan, as always is impressive. This is Lara’s Best performance so far. And SRK is at his marketing best.

The magazine says Shah Rukh Khan – who is No. 41 on the list – is the ‘King of Bollywood’.

Comedy flick Billoo Barber is Shah Rukh Khan’s first film with director Priyadarshan. This will also be the first time that Shah Rukh will star with Irrfan Khan. Shah Rukh paired opposite three top flight Indian actresses, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.

The story is set in today’s day and age. Billo (Irrfan Khan) plays a village barber. His business is running low because he has not been able to upgrade himself according to the changing trends.

One fine day, a film unit visits his village to shoot a movie. It stars a superstar Sahir Khan(Shahrukh Khan), who was once Billo’s school friend. All at once, Billo’s status in the village changes, and he becomes highly respected. Everyone wants him to meet the superstar. But Billo is unsure, as he feels he cannot compare to the superstar’s status. Besides, he fears that the star may not recognize him. He makes many attempts to meet the star but fails. After all these hardships, he gives up. But people think that he lied about the relationship with the star and start insulting him. His family and children also gets upset.
